Time – 10am - 4 pm

Location – ‘Palais Des Vaches’ Gallery, Lower Exbury Farm, Inchmery Lane, Exbury, Southampton.

This workshop is an opportunity to work in Acrylics in a friendly and relaxed location. It is a tutored session with Stewart Beckett, Landscape and Portrait Painter. It will be a fun session for beginner and experienced painters. Working from life our goal will be to create some small studies and one big painting in the session. Using different tools like rag, brushes, pallet knife, acrylics, and gesso, to create a characterful art work.

The aims of the workshop:

• To learn how to work with Acrylic paints.
• To develop and understand what makes an interesting composition
• To confidently progress the painting with helpful and supportive tuition.
• To feel more adapt at practicing Acrylic in your own.

All materials are included. Please bring a packed lunch. 

Coffee, Tea and Biscuits will be provided.

You are advised to wear old clothes or bring an apron to the session as it could get messy!
